Celebrate all things local and handmade at the holiday edition of Makers Mart! The curation and the quality of craftsmanship showcased through this event have made Makers Mart one of the most exciting handmade shopping events in Sacramento. From 12-6p, local makers will take over a gorgeous old bank building on 7th and J St in downtown Sacramento. Along with wonderfully handmade goods and art, there will be music, food, and holiday cocktails.
The 9th Annual Holiday Crafterino show is Sunday, November 12 at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building. Each year the show celebrates the best in local handmade crafts and gifts while raising funds to support Petaluma’s own COTS, Committee on the Shelterless. Here is where to find something for everyone on your holiday gift list! This much-anticipated tradition has grown to become the premier local handmade event, filled to the brim with cheer and goodwill.
In light of the fire devastation in Sonoma County, Tula in Bloom will also contribute 10% sales toward fire relief for particularly vulnerable populations in Sonoma County, and 5% of all sales at tulainbloom.com during November will go toward a verified fire relief fund of your choice; just write in which one in the notes at checkout. Tula in Bloom is proud to participate in the annual Sac Open Studios Tour when 100+ artists throughout the Sacramento region open their studios for a massive, self-guided tour. Brought to you by Verge Center for the Arts and sponsored in part by Warehouse Artist Lofts, where our studio is located, we'll be open the first weekend of the tour, September 9-10, and will showcase new works, provide a demonstration, and may have a sales promotion as well! It's Tula in Bloom's first open studio event at the Warehouse Artist Lofts (WAL), and we couldn't be more excited! Join us Friday, June 2 for First Fridays at WAL, where a number of resident artists will open their home studios for great Friday night shopping. Come tour, shop and sip at the Tula in Bloom studio, and learn more about my jewelry design and fabrication process.
Celebrate eight years of handcrafted wearable art at the de Young. Meet the artisans and shop one-of-a-kind collections at the premier shopping event of the spring. Wares on view will include apparel, accessories, necklaces, earrings, and more. The event is held in the Piazzoni Murals Room at the de Young and admission is free.
